Mariah Vermeer

Mariah Vermeer completed the Holistic Nutrition Program from the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition. It is her goal to be able to share, inspire and assist individuals on their health journey.

Before she started this program, she graduated from the University of British Columbia with a Bachelor of Science in Global Resources, focusing on sustainable agriculture. Nutrition has always been a passion of hers. When she graduated from university, she continued to search for programs that could increase her knowledge of food and wellness.

Mariah has a special interest in women’s health, particularly fertility, hormones and pre/postnatal care. She has gained some experience in her practicum working with individuals on hormone imbalances and pre/postnatal nutrition plans. Another area of interest for her is sports nutrition. At UBC, she played on the women’s volleyball varsity team for 5 years. With this background she has gained experience understanding the long and intense schedule of an athlete and also knowing the importance of fueling your body in order to flourish.

Mariah believes that everyone has the ability to take small steps in their day-to-day lives to lead them to greater balance and wellness. She thrives in finding ways to incorporate individual’s dreams, visions or goals into their journey to better their health. She believes that with pure, simple and wholesome foods, we can feel alive and energized.
